RaeMorr Photography Launched!

My daughter Raegan with the help of her daddy launched her photography blog, "RaeMorr Photography". The images captured by Raegan are straight from the camera and unedited. Please stop by and visit and say hello! I know she will appreciate it.

Raegan was given a small Olympus point and shoot and enjoys taking photographs. She wants to be a photographer like her daddy so we put a camera in her hands and created a blog. It is a lot of fun to watch her explore through the camera lens.

Eagle Air Med - San Luis, Colorado - JayMorr Photography

JayMorr Photography featured in Eagle Air Med, Spring 2009. Eagle Air Med is a fixed-wing air ambulance provider, servicing the Navajo Nation, the San Luis Valley in southern Colorado, and the Four Corners Region. Eagle Air Med's mission is to provide safe, compassionate, and efficient air medical transportation.

Shooting The Monochrome

So I pulled some more images off the camera from my shoot the other night out at the Great Salt Lake. I really enjoy working with the Monochrome. I set my camera to various Monochrome colors and then shoot using camera filters.

Here is a set of photographs that I really enjoy and think would make for some nice art on the wall.

Working with the chrome is a lot of fun. Give it a try.

Session On The Salt

When I got the word from Brett that it was on at the "GSL" (Great Salt Lake), I grabbed my gear and hit the west side with excitement. We were in photog heaven and before I knew it I had ripped off about 2oo images.

After looking at my first image on the "Chrome", I grinned and knew it was going to be an awesome night of shooting.
GSL Flare
I continue to improve as a photographer and a large part of it is credited to my good friend Brett Colvin. Every time we shoot together he pushes me. We share ideas and feed off each other. It makes for some incredible days of shooting.
GSL Sunset
We laughed at the old painted train cars that everyone was bombing on with their cameras as we passed the frontage road near Soltair. I have to grin after recently blowing it up a couple weeks ago. Nothing new, just gets me smiling.

Tonight was a great session. I have so many clean photos that I had a hard time deciding what to share with everyone. That is a good thing right? I worked on bracketing and used a 9 sequence shot rotation to capture some HDR images.

Be sure to check out Brett's take on the "Brine" and visit www.flytowater.com . I will try and post some additional pics over the next few days.

Catch Of The Day - Baby Fisher

JAY_0653-Edit

When Nick & Stef asked me to photograph baby fisher a couple months back, I was honored. Fisher is already quite the fisherman at three weeks. I had a good time taking a ride up to Logan, UT with my two kids Raegan and Brig. They enjoyed Stef's awesome cooking. Stef made the best stone round pizzas!

Fisher was a little stud. I was able to get some shots that I hope both mom and dad will cherish and share with their families. Here are few shots from our photo shoot.

Enjoy~

Day Two With the D700

I hit the road and headed out for a quick photo session after work tonight. I came across an old beat up rail car and threw the 700 into Monochrome mode. The Nikon SB-900 did wonders with flash work and I am more and more impressed each time I shoot. Most of these shots were taken with ISO 400. All shots hand held. Hopefully I can pick up a decent tripod soon.

I hope you enjoy the "Urban" feel.
